DARIUS LUX is one of Sedona’s TOP artists, at home playing either the Baby Grand Piano and The Guitar while singing with his beautiful voice, you will be thoroughly entertained…

Every third Wednesday at SBG Wineaux Wednesday, Darius will entertain you with both our baby grand piano and his guitar!

When singer/songwriter Darius Lux left the confines of New York City to travel the world for a year, he didn’t fully comprehend the life changing pilgrimage he was embarking on. A multi-instrumentalist, producer and performer came back as a free-thinker and inspirational lyricist.

Combining his love of 60’s songwriting, 70’s soul, 80’s pop and 90’s hip-hop into a current mix of soulful, rock-edged pop tunes, Darius found his voice on his debut record “Arise”, took us to the streets of LA for his EP, “Time is Now” and now presents his new album, “We The Living”.

Darius’ music is a statement describing how we can take control of our lives. “For each one of us, life can be full of different fears, but we have to remember that fear is a choice. When we decide we don’t want fear and we have chosen to believe in ourselves instead, we find that we begin to receive the things in life we’ve hoped for”.

Darius is currently gigging in California & Arizona and living life against the grain – with every spirited note he plays; he urges us to do the same.
Take part in Darius’ voyage…

The Black Market Trust is an American pop/vocal jazz band whose current release II combines the sounds of the great American crooners and vocal groups with the romantic Eastern European gypsy fire of jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt. Consisting of five world class musicians who have traveled the globe recording and performing on the world’s biggest stages and with music’s most renowned artists, The Black Market Trust capitalizes on their experience and pedigree to deliver a sophomore album that brings a new and exciting sound to 12 tried and true classic songs.

BMT color

The band’s all-instrumental debut studio album, The Black Market Trust, released in 2012, is widely regarded as a milestone in the gypsy jazz world.  Through the debut album, lead guitarist Jeffrey Scott Radaich gained notoriety for his songwriting, as well as his technical prowess and musicality. He has been touted as one of the most innovative and influential American acoustic gypsy jazz guitarists today. With their first release, the band established themselves as leaders and innovators by combining pop “Brill Building” sensibilities with the traditional sound of Django Reinhardt’s Hot Club of France Quintet. The animated video featuring their song Referential Integrity has garnered over one million YouTube views.

From 2009 to 2015 bassist Brian Netzley along with guitarist Radaich, were members of the groundbreaking Gonzalo Bergara Quartet, whose rapid rise in the jazz world was cemented by twice headlining the prestigious Django Reinhardt Festival in Samois-sur-Seine, France (the final resting place of Jazz icon Django Reinhardt). After spending six formative years as supporting cast members with Bergara, Netzley and Radaich decided the time was right to focus on a new project that would stay true to their love of Django but combine it with a new American flavor. Keeping thecore trio line-up from the first Black Market Trust album of Radaich, Netzley and Chris Irwin on rhythm guitar, they rounded out the lineup with LA based session and touring drummer Brandon Laws and Nick Coventry, a Tucson, Arizona violin hero/Eastern European folk music expert. In addition to the new musicians they also decided to add another new element to the Black Market Trust sound: vocals…

Merging their love of everything from The Mills Brothers to The Beach Boys, Sinatra to Lennon/McCartney, the band began to arrange lead and 3 part vocal harmony lines to 12 of their favorite Great American Songbook standards. Using Radaich’s emotive, light baritone as the focus and surrounding it with Netzley’s pure tenor and Irwin’s rich bottom-end, the band’s sound is a synthesis of two distinctly different vibes- one of a gypsy campfire, the other a slick metropolitan nightclub- into a cohesive, stylish sound.

With II, The Black Market Trust has created an organic new sound that is daring, fresh and exciting yet somehow still familiar and inviting. Combining old world romance with new world form, The Black Market Trust brings you a simple, elegant and well-defined classic sound.

Eric Miller

Born in Alpena, Michigan, but grew up in Detroit. He began seriously playing guitar at the age of twelve, inspired by all the great rhythm-n-blues and rock-n-roll of the area. Coming from a family of musicians and artists, Eric started playing professionally when he was sixteen. In no time he was playing some of the hottest and biggest venues of the Detroit Metropolitan area.

Hungry for travel and exposure to different sounds and music, Eric left Detroit in the mid 90’s to travel to Europe where he spent months busking on the streets of France, Italy, England, Ireland, and eventually Spain. It was there that he was seduced by the art of flamenco. After returning to the states, he was privileged to meet and eventually perform with La Dama Maria del Carmen, a world-renowned flamenco dancer who has performed with such flamenco greats as maestros Carlos Montoya and Juan Serrano.

After several years of disciplined study and performance of flamenco, Eric found himself drawn towards Brazilian music, inspired by the brilliance of masters such as Antonio Carlos Jobim and Caetano Veloso. Eric says, “There is so much ocean and sun in bossa nova and samba that it is always refreshing to listen to.”

Eric has toured the Southern United States with Karren Pell, a Nashville songwriter with whom he still writes many of his songs. He also tours with the flamenco company Arte Y Pureza, playing with the band Sir Sultry in the flamenco rock opera A Spanish Day.

Most recently, Eric co-collaborated to compose music for a documentary film called The Accidental Mummies of Guanajuato, Mexico for the Detroit Science Center.

Today Eric has found his own voice, emerging with an interwoven cultural style that is unique unto him. His music is diverse, and he continues to travel and play, collaborating with many great musicians around the world. Artist Website: Eric Miller

“A Salute To Glen Campbell” with Jeff Dayton and former Glen Campbell Band members.

HONORING AN OLD FRIEND

Jeff’s years with Glen Campbell were filled with stories, shows and adventures, traveling and recording with one of America’s best-loved and most-respected country/pop artists of all time. It’s only natural that with Glen’s retirement since his Alzheimer’s diagnosis, there would be a demand for his music to still be heard. Jeff has been answering that call with some of his fellow band mates in….

A Salute To Glen Campbell

Led by Glen Campbell’s former right-hand man, Jeff calls on fellow alumni from the tours and together they share the joys and fun, the stories behind the songs and an intimate reflection on the pain of a great friend slipping away from us all.The show is filled with Glen’s hits, all performed by Glen Campbell band members and Jeff. A great show, if you loved Glen and his music, then this is a must see show!

The loss of his old buddy prompted Jeff to write this song “Long Slow Train Out of Town”

Jeff Dayton has been busy since his 15 plus years with Glen Campbell. In “A Salute To Glen Campbell” Jeff will tell the stories and play the music that he experienced with his 15years on the road and in the studio with the legendary Glenn Campbell!!

From the White House to the Wildhorse Saloon, Jeff has been playing guitar and performing all his life. He’s been a Nashville writer for fourteen years and thrives on the concentrated creative scene in Music City. His hometown roots in Minnesota and years in Arizona earned him a the job of bandleader with Hall of Fame artist Glen Campbell. He also found time to land his music degree, regional hit records and the honor of backing artists like Vince Gill, Buck Owens, Bo Diddley, Dizzy Gillespie, Willie Nelson, Gene Autry, Toby Keith and many more. Once relocating to Nashville, Jeff was soon touring with megastar Kenny Chesney, Lee Greenwood and others.

Today, Jeff is an active Nashville music producer, songwriter, session guitarist, touring artist and educator and tours as a dynamic solo artist.

Here is Jeff in a video with one of his favorites and ours… Tobey Kieth! (you can see Jeff playing the piano all through the video)

Gary Regina has been a professional musician for over 30 years.

Gary Regina

Gary Regina

As comfortable with straight-ahead jazz as he is with world beat, hip-hop, blues, swing, rock or funk, Gary’s abilities transcend many styles and genres, illustrating an incredible diversity of musical influences.

Gary led his own original bands for 18 years, whose styles ranged from acid jazz and new age to world beat. A pioneer of the world beat movement from the late 70s, Gary continues to incorporate world rhythms and influences into his compositions today.

Currently, Gary performs all over the United States and Australia, focusing on his multi-instrumental solo performance, which utilizes looping technology. Playing a wide variety of instruments (including woodwinds, ethnic flutes, saxophones, percussion, guitar, wind synthesizer and a drum machine), Gary creates unique soundscapes of trip-hop, world and ambient music. Then, with incredible creativity (and a little help from technology), the trance-like rhythmical sounds gradually build, looping on top of each other, until you are sure there are ten musicians! Your ears will have a hard time reconciling what they hear with what your eyes see
